Her paintings emerge through an intuitive process that moves between meditative flow and expressive gesture, capturing both the energy and fragility of life.

Her early training began with three years of observational oil painting under Australian portrait painter Fiona Bilbrough at McClelland Sculpture Park + Gallery, grounding her practice in the Melbourne tonal tradition derived from the teachings of Max Meldrum. This classical foundation developed a deep understanding of light, form, and composition.

She later completed a BA in Contemporary Art (Painting / Dance), a Diploma of Visual Arts, and a BA in Education (Visual Arts / Performing Arts). Alongside her studio practice she has taught thousands of students and lectured in art education at university level.

Music and movement continue to influence her work, often expressed through live performance painting and gestural mark-making that reflects rhythm, intuition, and the dynamic relationship between sound, body, and image.
